Job Title: After-School Program Bus Driver
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver to transport students participating in an after-school program. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a school bus along designated routes, ensuring students arrive at their destinations safely and on time. This is a part-time position ideal for individuals looking for afternoon hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus to transport students for the after-school program.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers during loading, transport, and unloading.
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.
- Follow all traffic laws, school transportation policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate any concerns, incidents, or delays to the appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- School Bus Endorsement required.
- Passenger Endorsement required.
- Must pass a background screening.
- Ability to safely manage and supervise student passengers.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to student safety.
Experience:
- No prior experience required; training may be provided.
