Urgently looking for a dependable nanny in Stoneham, MA.

UNIQUE SUMMER NANNY OPPORTUNITY FOR JULY
LIVE IN NANNY ON BEAUTIFUL REMOTE MAINE ISLAND
seeking a high schooler or college female for live-in nanny role for 3-4 weeks in July (beginning after July 4th weekend, exact dates tbd).

Looking for a fun, engaging, easy going individual who can care for our two boys ages 1.5 and 5 at our home on an island in Maine.

Housing provided on a beautiful oceanfront island property (furnished barn loft, separate from family and children-rustic but newly built, sitting area and sleeping area, private bathroom, outdoor shower) in addition to accommodations, meals and weekly food stipend provided, as well as weekly salary commeasurate with experience. Days/evenings off to be determined based on schedule.

Main responsibilities will be daily care of both boys, as well as driving 5 year old to activities (swimming, camp etc.) when mother is working (dad will be commuting back and forth for work). Expectation of flexibility in schedule due to nature of mother’s work.

-must have SAFE driving record and be comfortable driving both children on rural roads. Car provided.
-cpr certified
-must be strong and capable swimmer (elder son will be in swim lessons and fully supervised but we live on the ocean as well)
-must love nature and being outside, frigid water and boisterous boys!
-must be comfortable joining in our family chaos and love dogs
-must be able to cook simple meals for children and self
-must have enthusiasm for cars, trucks, playing in the dirt and water, hiking, boating, creative play for rainy days, dogs, small town vibes, sailing, boating, being away from it all

Note: Island is only accessible by ferry. It is remote, peaceful and beyond beautiful, but not Nantucket or MV. Must be open to small island charm. Think-a few stores, 2 small restaurants.

We are really hoping for someone young and adventurous who loves new experiences and is comfortable jumping in to new things. We are NOT looking for a career nanny as this is a short term role (but would be open to it being recurring!) As housing and meals are provided we are looking for a young person who would like to spend time in an incredible place (with plenty of time to explore on your own) and make some money while doing so.

Opportunity to extend into August if schedules align
