Assembly and Labor Associate

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Temporary 2-week project)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Location: Finksburg, MD

Experience: Entry level

This short-term project offers consistent daytime hours, a competitive hourly rate, and a great opportunity to work with your hands while helping a local business scale up.

Job duties: * Assist in the manual assembly and installation of heavy-duty steel racking systems for tire storage.

• Unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Provide "extra hands" support by holding steel beams and materials in place during the bolting process.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site by clearing debris and organizing tools at the end of each shift.
• Follow supervisor instructions closely to ensure racking is built to specific safety and structural standards.

Requirements include:

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
• Comfort using basic hand tools and manual assembly equipment.
• Strong reliability and the ability to arrive on-site for a sharp 7:00 AM start.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to take direction well.
• Reliable transportation to the job site in Finksburg.
• Work stationary for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
