Laborer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for cutting rail to specified lengths using a torch, drilling rail according to order requirements, and preparing materials for shipment by palletizing and organizing orders. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut rail to precise measurements using oxy-acetylene or similar torch equipment
• Drill rail sections accurately based on customer or job specifications
• Palletize and organize materials for outgoing orders
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before shipment
• Operate yard tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a labor, manufacturing, or metalworking environment preferred
• Experience with torch cutting and drilling equipment is a plus
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (50+ lbs)
• Standing, bending, and working in an industrial environment for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
