We are seeking a Tooling Engineer to coordinate and direct all Tool and Die functions within the Green Bay Manufacturing Facility, including managing tooling projects for new products and improvements to existing tooling for established products. The selected candidate will manage and lead tool and die technicians across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Determine schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel
  • Examine objects, systems and facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services or repairs.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement continuous improvements activities to improve key performance indicators (contribution, on-time, cost of quality, incident rate, net efficiency, safety, etc)
  • Quote, justify, and specify/design tooling and equipment to meet project requirements
  • Interface with engineering throughout the design and manufacturing process to improve design and efficiency
  • Work with engineering and Sales Operations to resolve field install or quality issues

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Engineering or related field
  • Preferred 3 years of directly related experience in fabrication/assembly manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD including designing manufacturing tooling is required.
  • Prior experience with computing costing estimates and justifications for materials, labor, and tooling along with the ability to manage multiple projects is preferred
