Summary:

Deseret Cattle & Timber is seeking a self-motivated and detail-orientated Administrative Assistantto support our local farm office. A successful Admin Assistant provides clerical and administrative support while finding ways to increase efficiencies and alleviate the team of unnecessary tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the local leadership team.
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes and detailed notes, as well as follow-up on assignments given to the management team.
  • Maintain data for property record and document management systems.
  • Assist with reports and upkeep of the on-site filing systems.
  • Schedule, plan, coordinate the plans and logistics for meetings and large events.
  • As part of the administrative team, collaborate with and share various assignments and duties.
  • Crosstrain on other critical responsibilities and serve as backup to other clerical and administrative positions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Solid computer skills and technical proficiency using various systems and software including Microsoft tools.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, researching, problem-solving and organization skills.
  • Able to work over-time during seasonal needs.
