Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Picarro Driver to join our team in Peru, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Picarro vehicles and equipment to support environmental monitoring and data collection efforts. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently in various field conditions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Picarro vehicles and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport Picarro instruments and supplies to designated field locations.
  • Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of Picarro monitoring equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly secured and maintained during transport.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies while driving and handling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedules and field conditions.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating specialized vehicles or equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
  • Willingness to travel to different field sites within the region.

Work Environment

This position involves fieldwork in outdoor environments, including rural and remote locations. The Picarro Driver will spend significant time driving. This will be an overnight shift from 8pm to 6am. 4 day a week schedule with 3 days off.
