Crane Operator

Davis Staffing, Inc. has an immediate need for a Crane Operator. The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating overhead cranes to move steel and materials throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping operations.

Job Qualifications Include:

• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane experience in out of a steel environment.
• Experience with material handling in a manufacturing or steel environment preferred
• Ability to use and read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Team-oriented with the ability to assist in general labor duties as needed

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Operate overhead crane to unload mill trucks
• Load outbound trucks
• Pick and move steel throughout the facility
• Load and unload saw and other production equipment
• Use a tape measure to verify material
• Perform all other assigned duties as needed

Job Details Include:

• Temp to Hire
• $20 an hour with over time
• Steel toe boots or shoes
• 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
