The Packer Avenue Marine Terminal is operated by Greenwich Terminals LLC and is one of the most productive terminals in the United States.

The facility employs 12 highly productive and safe in-house labor crews and offers 19 start times which creates greater flexibility for vessel departure and arrival times. This adds up to cargo being moved faster, discharged faster, and saves distributors time and money.

Job Description & Duties:

A fast-paced Philadelphia area stevedore and terminal operating company is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a full-time Admin Assistant. Successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, drug-free environment. Candidate must be able to learn and understand maintenance and repair terminology while assisting in the computer input of documented by Union Mechanics. Candidate will also coordinate with other internal Company Departments, as well as interface with Customers. Candidate's essential duties will include the data input or repairs and estimates into Company software as well as third party portals. Candidate must be able to perform essential duties in a proficient and efficient manner.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems, look ahead to avoid problems, and follow through to completion.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and have the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal departments, customers and their agents, and vendors.
  • Good correspondence and computer skills a must (Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS) with the ability to learn in house network and third-party systems.
  • Ability to Provide general assistance to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card

Salary: Negotiable commensurate with experience

Hours: First Shift

Qualifications: Maritime/Admin Assistant Knowledge or Supervisory experience a plus
