AHS Environmental Services Technician

Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment within a healthcare facility located in the Central Plains region of the United States. This role involves performing a variety of environmental service tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver timely cleaning services across all facility areas using equipment such as vacuums, buffing machines, and extractors.
• Apply appropriate chemicals to maintain a sanitary environment in patient care and staff areas.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and universal precautions consistently.
• Maintain and stock housekeeping carts and closets efficiently.
• Provide services to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
• Comply with privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching while using proper protective safety equipment.

Education and Experience

No formal education requirements; however, previous experience in housekeeping and chemical usage is preferred.
