Residential Caregiving Facility is looking for a caregiver who will provide routine daily nursing care to long term residents. These are 6 bed residential home facilities.

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

At least 6 months care-giving experience

Must have CPR certification upon hire

Must have a negative Tb test and physical before scheduled

Specific Job Requirements

Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as willingness to handle difficult clients.

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA privacy laws and maintain confidential information.

Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

Approx. 24- 30 hours a week. 5am - 10 am during the week, with 5 AM - 1 PM rotating weekends; 1:15pm to 9:15pm with rotating weekends; 9:15pm to 5:15am with rotating weekends.

Essential Functions

Must be able to safely lift, turn, push, pull, reposition, and transport patients 50 lbs and over.

Must be able to assist clients with ADLs: showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting, etc.

Prepare and serve meals as well as light housekeeping.

Able to accurately document and chart client care.

Take Vital signs and willing to complete on job training for medication administration.

Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, staff, and family.

Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients.

Must demonstrate dependable and regular attendance.

Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.

Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
