Lunchroom/Playground Supervisor

Qualifications:

Work well with students, staff and parents. Must complete a criminal background check.

Reports to:

Principal

Job Goals:

To provide for the students' safety and needs by supervising their lunchroom and playground activities.

Performance Responsibilities:

1. Maintains a supervised lunch period both inside and outside. Student conduct is the direct responsibility of the supervisor.
2. Enforces procedures consistently. Enforces good lunchroom manners. Running and misconduct shall not be tolerated.
3. Supervises playground.
4. Is punctual and has regular attendance.
5. Supervisors will be responsible for cleaning the lunchroom.
6. Supervisors are responsible for assigning student seats.
7. Supervisors will report all major student misconducts to an administrator.
8. Supervisors will model professionalism and reinforce mutual respect.
9. Supervisors will effectively and efficiently manage daily procedures.
10. Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by an administrator.

Terms of Employment:

Salary and work year established by the Board of Education

Evaluation:

Performance will be evaluated annually

• Competitive Hourly Rate: Based on the current collective bargaining agreement (typically ranges from $15.48 to $21.49 depending on experience and education).
