Summary

The Food and Beverage Storeroom Receiver/ Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate receiving and delivery of food, beverage, and supply items from the central storeroom to various resort outlets including restaurants, bars, banquet spaces, and retail operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee deliveries at the F&B Storeroom
  • Verify items against the invoice/ delivery note and ensure accuracy of deliveries
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing incoming shipments in the assigned areas according to Food Safety regulations.
  • Report to F&B Supervisor/ Manager any damaged, missing product.
  • Load and deliver food, beverage, and supply items to designated resort outlets according to daily requisitions
  • Verify items against requisition forms and ensure accuracy of deliveries
  • Handle all products with care, adhering to safety and food handling protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of delivery vehicle and loading/unloading equipment
  • Communicate with outlet managers and storeroom staff regarding delivery schedules, discrepancies, or shortages
  • Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure safe operation
  • Maintain delivery logs, temperature logs (if required), and complete all documentation accurately
  • Uphold resort standards for guest service, professionalism, and communication when in public or guest-facing areas
  • Assist with inventory organization and rotation within the storeroom when deliveries are not in process
  • Assist Purchasing and Receiving Manager/Senior Leadership with additional projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Qualifications

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Availability

Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is open and operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to work: days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

License Requirements

Valid driver's license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.

All employees must adhere to all safety rules and regulations required by local, State and Federal authorities, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment necessary to perform the job in a safe manner and will follow all safety rules per the Company's Safety Policy.

Language Skills

Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
