Weekend & Holiday Receptionist

Eminence Dickson Health and Rehab - Dickson, TN
Position Summary

Eminence Dickson Health and Rehab is seeking a dependable and professional Weekend & Holiday Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our facility. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

The Receptionist will be responsible for managing incoming calls, greeting and screening visitors, and ensuring proper check-in and check-out procedures are followed in accordance with facility policies.
Schedule

  • Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) 10:30a - 6:30pm
  • Holidays as needed
  • Typical shift hours may vary based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Greet all visitors, vendors, and guests upon arrival
  • Monitor facility entrance and ensure secure access at all times
  • Check visitors in and out according to facility protocols
  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure accuracy of records
  • Provide general information and assist visitors as needed
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and leadership regarding visitors or concerns
  • Monitor lobby activity and report any unusual or suspicious behavior
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned (filing, paperwork, etc.)
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident and facility information (HIPAA compliance)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Reliable attendance, especially on weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Occasional walking and light lifting (up to 15 lbs)
