Job Description
Title: Urgent Care Medical Assistant - Certified

Schedule:
- Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM
- Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM
- Saturday: 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
- Every Saturday required (Sundays off)

Requirements:
- Current WA Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 6 months experience as a certified Medical Assistant in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic
- Experience with the EPIC charting system required
- Reliable personal transportation required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and recording medical history, medications, and allergies
- Taking and recording vital signs including height/weight, pulse oximetry, and vision testing
- Assisting with procedures such as nebulizer treatments and basic wound care
- Performing specimen collection, including throat swabs and urine tests
- Conducting point-of-care tests and assisting with medication administration
- Ensuring exam rooms are stocked with necessary supplies
