Accounts Payable Specialist – Finance

Essential Functions

• Process incoming mail and verify invoice quantities and prices against purchase orders.
• Request and prepare checks for payment processing.
• Distribute posted invoices to appropriate staff for matching with checks prior to mailing.
• Disseminate computerized financial reports as needed.
• Maintain and update the vendor master file accurately.
• Comply with privacy and security regulations related to Protected Health Information (PHI).

Minimum Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Calculator proficiency and strong data entry capabilities.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in payables or general accounting clerk roles is a plus.
