Evening/Weekend PT Receptionist

Ridgecrest Village is seeking a friendly, dependable Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our assisted living unit. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. As our receptionist, you'll play an essential role in daily operations while providing clerical support to the Director of Assisted Living-and you'll be a key part of the warm, caring experience Oakwood is known for.
Essential Duties:

  • Serves as the first point of contact for inquiries and directs to appropriate person
  • Greets and assists visitors and families
  • Schedules residents' appointments and transportation including preparing packets for next day appointments and setting up the IPAD for virtual appointments
  • Order and display resident door signs to create a welcoming environment
  • Complete inventory and order office supplies
  • Care and feed fish in the Oakwood aquarium
  • Assist with Oakwood room reservations for residents
  • Deliver packages, mail and newspapers to residents in a timely manner
  • Promotes positive Oakwood and community relations
  • Provides routine information and refers requests to proper sources
  • Answers and operates telephone courteously and efficiently
  • Forwards information and messages to appropriate parties
  • Handles incoming and outgoing business and resident mail
  • Copying, scanning, filing, shredding and other clerical duties
  • Attend required in-service meetings, including all staff meetings and state training sessions
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Comfort working with residents, families, and staff in a healthcare or assisted living setting
  • Willingness to meet required education and training competencies
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Basic Computer skills including email, word, excel, etc.
  • Functional literacy in English.
