Associate Housekeeping Technician – Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician Preferred

Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to strict infection control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following hospital protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere to infection prevention and safety policies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill department objectives.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.

Work Schedule: First shift, typically 8 AM to 4 PM, with weekend and holiday rotations required.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
