SHIFT SCHEDULE:

  • 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
  • 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday
  • 3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am, Sunday - Thursday

PAY RATE:

  • $18.00 - $23.00/hour DOE
  • 2nd shift receives 10% shift differential and 3rd shift receives 20% shift differential

RESPONSIBILITY:

Prepare completed sets for shipment.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Committed to ensuring the achievement of continuous improvement within area of expertise, as well as areas of business in order to remain at the forefront of meeting Company objectives, thus proactively satisfying customers.
  • This position mandates that all required safety classes, trainings, and certifications be completed and maintained within the specific position/department.
  • Is aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.
  • This position requires an employee to work their regularly scheduled shift; ability to work overtime and weekends.
  • Must be aware of and comply with related IATF/ISO procedures, as applicable.
  • Must meet qualitative and quantitative standards for the position and department.
  • Management can move employees into other departments for business needs.
  • Package finished product according to customer's order and specifications.
  • Check to make sure all paperwork is completed properly for shipment and weights are checked.
  • Check Bill of Lading to be sure destination, address, weight, and amount of cartons are correct.
  • Have orders banded or plastic wrapped according to size.
  • Operate various equipment and/or machines such as:
  • Electric Hand Jack
  • Two-Wheel Dolly Cart
  • Shipping Software
  • Capable of shipping GM/Ford direct orders.
  • Alert Production Manager of any problems.
  • Complete daily truck list to record amount of boxes/skids, truck line, and what time to be picked up.
  • Submit all paperwork to Production Manager and/or Production Control daily.
  • Assist in the training of new personnel.
  • Annual review of any Posted Work Instructions and department specific manuals.
  • Keep work area clean, neat and organized.
  • Responsible to ensure all work is performed in accordance with specific work instructions and in accordance with shipping procedures stated in the Shipping Instruction manual.

EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Position requires individual to be capable of traveling & working throughout the entire facility, within reasonable accommodation. The noise level is usually moderate.
