Quality Control Roving Inspector
Chester County, PA
Hourly Rate: $20.00-$26.00
Shifts Available: 1st Shift 7:00AM-3:30PM 2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a floor level quality resource for machinists and inspectors, supporting inspections, non conformance resolution, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Performs in process and final inspections across multiple machining cells to support quality standards for precision medical device components
- Responsible for blueprint reading and GD&T skills
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements:
- 5+ years of quality experience in a precision machining environment
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Experience performing in process and final inspections
- Proficiency using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13484 standards
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CNC or Swiss machining experience
- Experience training or mentoring inspectors or production staff
- Quality certifications (CQT, CQI, Six Sigma)
