About the Role:
Bruin Waste Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers. This position plays a key role in assisting customers with setting up accounts, billing questions, and general inquiries while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Basic math, computer, and keyboarding skills

Legible handwriting and strong attention to detail
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Spanish is a plus!

Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
-
Must represent Bruin Waste in a professional and positive manner at all times
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
-
Greet and assist customers promptly, politely, and professionally in person, by email, and by phone
-
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all customer records and accounts

Post payments, process deposits, and assist with managing billing cycles (monthly, quarterly, 28-day)

Prepare dispatch tickets, process delinquent notices, and resolve customer concerns effectively
-
Compose and distribute customer communications regarding service routes, pricing, or schedule updates
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date office files, phone lists, and pricing sheets
-
Coordinate with IT to ensure system pricing accuracy
-
Process autopay and portal payments and run database reports to track services
-
Perform receptionist, telephone operator, and dispatcher duties as needed
-
Participate in company training and meetings; assist with staff training on customer communication

Support teamwork and collaboration across all departments to meet company goals
