Experienced Nanny For Redwood City Family With Two Young Children

Stanford Park Nannies has been successful in working with this family on a long-term and temporary basis for 3 + years. Mom is still on maternity leave, and the baby boy is 6 months old now. The Family needs a reliable nanny who will help foster independence in their children.  Parents will be busy working and offer independence to a highly organized, development-focused Nanny to partner with them. The 3-year-old daughter is in preschool (and camps this summer), their nanny should be an expert at juggling complex schedules—balancing an infant's needs with a toddler’s school and extracurriculars (ballet, swimming).  Excellent driving skills and a commitment to road safety are non-negotiable, as you will be responsible for all daily transportation to school and activities. They value a 'mentor' mindset: someone who fosters independence, respects the child’s pace, and engages in active, growth-oriented play rather than passive supervision. The 3 1/2-year-old girl tends to be a thoughtful listener who processes things deeply before jumping in. May need time in play dates/playgrounds, and this time needs to be respected. She is an active child who loves Swimming, Books, Dance, Building LEGO structures, and Dramatic Play.

Pay: $35-$40/hr gross + Benefits and Mileage Reimbursement
