Production Line Leader

The Equipment Owner II specifically owns:

· Associate Safety.

· Food Safety & Quality.

· Daily Centerline completion.

· Daily CIL completion.

· Troubleshoots and perform minor equipment repairs.

· Overall Efficiency of assigned equipment.

· Schedule Attainment.

· Yield.

· Head count management of the line.

· Preventing Stops.

· Hourly Line performance

· Change Overs coordination and meeting target.

· Standard work execution.

· 6S

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS

1. Ensure all associates follow all safety and food safety and quality standards.

2. Ensure all quality checks are completed properly and on time.

3. Responsible for documenting and updating production documentation.

4. Responsible for communicating issues throughout the shift and being part of the solution.

5. Required to operate machinery as necessary while maintaining the performance of the line.

6. Responsible for the execution of the AM systems on the AM models assigned to them.

7. Responsible for troubleshooting the equipment and making proper adjustments.

8. Responsible for inspecting the equipment and completing minor repairs.

9. Ensure the necessary materials and supplies are in place before and during production to run.

10. Manage the sequence of events for startups, change over, and shut down.

11. Ensures that Standard work, 6S and Quick changeover standards are being followed.

12. Support the AM progression of their line and develop the capabilities to sustain it.

13. Coach General Labor associates and provide regular feedback on their development needs.

14. Monitoring of assigned line’ s productivity metrics and product quality.

15. Support the EO III on ensuring that the production schedule is completed in the most cost-efficient way.

16. In the absence of the EO III the EO II must take control of the line.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
