Job Summary:
Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, a 57-bed all-male skilled nursing facility with a large veteran population, is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team. As the Administrator, you will direct the day-to-day functions of the facility to ensure the highest degree of quality care and services are provided to our residents at all times. This is a salaried role ranging from $145,000 to $155,000 with weekly pay.
Responsibilities:

Oversee, direct, and enforce regulatory compliance with applicable local, state, federal, and town regulations

Enforce quality of care, quality of life, and standards of practice to ensure positive resident outcomes

Conduct rounds throughout the facility

Enforce privacy practices to ensure the protection of individuals' health information

Report the needs of the facility to the Governing Body and Director of Operations as appropriate

Oversee all aspects of personnel administration, including recruitment and retention of qualified personnel

Develop and maintain positive public relations and effective marketing

Ensure the protection of residents' personal and property rights, as well as their safety and well-being

Uphold and monitor daily staffing patterns to meet the needs of the residents

Conduct quality assurance through regular mandated meetings, audits, rounds reviews, and resident, family, and staff interviews
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree
-
Active and unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator license in Massachusetts

Working knowledge of long-term care operational standards set forth in federal and state regulations

Prior long-term care administration training and experience preferred as a licensed nursing home administrator

Strong leadership and supervisory skills and independent decision-making skills

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
