Job Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform general maintenance tasks including general upkeep, cleaning, painting, and building/ equipment maintenance and repairs to keep systems operational and the community safe and clean.   Compensation: $23+ per hour, based on experience  FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.   Your Responsibilities: 

  • ​​​​Perform general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repair, pressure washing) on buildings, systems, common areas and amenities
  • Maintain recreational amenities (i.e. common areas and amenities)
  • Conduct routine inspections
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain pool features, pumps, and filters
  • Balance Ph levels in pools and water features
  • Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas and amenities by picking up trash and debris
  • Maintain tools and equipment in maintenance shop
  • Complete maintenance reports, documentation, records, and other necessary paperwork
  • Respond to emergencies as needed which may include weekends, holidays, or overnight

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communications skills (including written).
  • ​Proven initiative and strong work ethic.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment 7-year criminal investigation. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Active CPO Certification or be willing to obtain (Required) 
  • Residential maintenance experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Must have general knowledge of building mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical 

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
  • Able to lift to 50+ pounds 

Work Location: Gold Canyon, AZ 85118       Work Hours: Typical schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day. Schedule will soon shift to a Sunday - Thursday.   What We Offer:
