Financial Advisor

A growing and well-established private wealth management firm in the DC area is looking to add an experienced Advisor to their team-no book of business is required and offers the opportunity to step into an existing client base. The firm has received recognition from Forbes ("Best in State" and "Top Women Advisors") and was recently named to Barron's Top 1500 Financial Advisors list.

This is a great opportunity to step into a meaningful, client-facing role where you'll build relationships with high-net-worth and multinational clients while working alongside a collaborative and experienced team. The Advisor plays a key role in delivering a high-quality client experience and helping ensure things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities:
Manage client relationships through ongoing communication and regular touchpoints
Provide comprehensive client service, including meeting preparation, portfolio reviews and adjustments, data gathering, implementation of recommendations, and account maintenance
Support holistic financial planning efforts, including coordination of asset management, estate planning, and risk management strategies
Oversee client asset management, including portfolio analysis, tax-aware strategies, and overall wealth planning execution
Participate in client and internal team meetings, as well as contribute to special projects as needed
Periodically serve on the Investment Committee and Financial Planning Committee

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of client advisory experience
Series 7 and 66 licenses, along with Virginia Life & Health Insurance licenses
CFP certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
Proficiency with MoneyGuidePro, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and experience with financial planning, CRM, and portfolio management systems
Team-oriented with strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a small, collaborative environment
