Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Sales & Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, service, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems while helping homeowners understand their options for repair, replacement, and improved comfort solutions. This will start as a part time position that will transition into a full time position in the next 2 months.

This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys working directly with customers, building trust, and recommending the best solutions for their home. You will combine strong technical skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with homeowners.

The right candidate has prior experience as an HVAC service technician, holds an EPA certification, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to improve system performance and comfort.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to help customers make informed decisions are essential.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems

Perform system inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to improve system efficiency and reliability

Educate homeowners on system performance, repair options, and replacement opportunities

Build strong customer relationships through professionalism, communication, and trust

Present repair and upgrade options in a clear, honest, and customer-focused manner

Identify opportunities for system improvements, indoor air quality solutions, and energy efficiency upgrades

Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks using pressure gauges or soap-and-water solutions

Test electrical circuits or components for continuity using electrical testing equipment

Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Accurately document service findings and recommendations

Qualifications

Previous HVAC service technician experience required

Centrally located to North Orange County and be willing to work flexible hours to service customer in need of evening and weekend support

EPA Certification required

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Comfortable speaking with homeowners and recommending solutions

Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards

Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
