Nye Auto is looking for an EXPERIENCED Lot Attendant & Auto Detail Specialist to join our winning team at the CDJR - CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM dealership.

Same as our Detail position plus assisting with moving cars around the lot as needed and keeping the lot orderly, clean, and vehicles in supreme condition.

Your main focus will be on keeping up with the vehicles in the Lot and keeping it in order.

Keep cars clean, including ice and snow or other weather, and following instructions of the Sales and Service managers as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Wash exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions
• Wax and buff vehicles using clothes and machines
• Vacuum inside of vehicle removing dirt and debris from all upholstery & surfaces
• Use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains.
• Use of different dyes, cleaning and removing grease from engines and engine compartments.
• Keep lot cars clean including removing snow and ice as needed.
• Follow directions of Sales Managers, Service Managers, and Directors.
• Ensuring batteries are charged as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess technical knowledge and skill in auto detailing.
• Dress appropriately and representative of the company.
• 2 years detailing experience required
• Buffing and touch up is a required skill.
• Must have the ability to effectively use and operate basic mechanical equipment.
• Good time management skills being able to work independently and efficiently.
• Use and comply with all safety rules in all aspects of the position
• Ability to take direction from the Department Manager.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions.
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
• An applicant must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must have a valid and clean Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time Hourly

Pay: $16 - $20 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Workweek: Monday thru Friday with 1-2 Saturdays per month

Work Location: In person
