Agriculture Service Provider - Sprayer Tech
Job Description

Location: Queen Anne, Maryland

$5000. sign on bonus (expires 9/30/25)

Purpose:

Independently performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and /or dealer-owned

Agricultural Equipment with emphasis on Sprayers and Application equipment. Candidates require a strong

work ethic to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision. Communication skills are required to

clearly articulate aspects of work being performed to a customer in a courteous manner. This is an excellent

opportunity for a self motivated individual interested in working for an established dealership.

Responsibilities:
• Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on Agricultural equipment, and established Precision Ag

products, Sprayers, Dry box units and other Application units.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required.
• Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work

orders and on time submission of information.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Conducts and supports customer clinics.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Participate in the JDU Training program required for development of skills and knowledge.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Overnight travel may be required at times.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
• Preferably one year of experience performing Ag equipment service repairs.
• Basic understanding of chemicals used in the application industry
• Basic knowledge of application rates and requirements
• Experience with basic computer functions.
• Work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following

Technical Manual procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of Application

equipment.
• Must have an adequate tool set to perform job responsibilities.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• DOT Medical Certification and be able to maintain as required

The pay range for this position is $20-$38 per hour, based on experience.
