Job Summary

The University of Redlands teacher residency pathway provides aspiring teachers with a high-quality practical teaching experience at Morongo Unified School District while working towards a California teaching credential.
Teacher Residents are placed in PK-12 classrooms at Morongo Unified School District and work alongside a Resident Mentor (veteran teacher). Residents are in a PK-12 classroom during the day and complete teacher preparation coursework in the evening. Teacher preparation courses are taught at the University of Redlands' main campus with some hybrid/online options available.
At the conclusion of the 12-to-16-month teacher residency program, Teacher Residents will earn a California teaching credential and have a contingent offer to be a full-time teacher with Morongo Unified School District.
