Empire Finest Group is growing-and we're looking for a high-performing Loan Processor who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven mortgage environment. This is not a passive processing role. You'll take full ownership of each loan file, ensuring every deal moves from application to Clear-to-Close (CTC) with speed, accuracy, and exceptional client service.
If you're someone who takes pride in clean underwriting submissions, organized systems, and getting loans across the finish line on time, this role puts you at the center of the action. You'll play a revenue-critical role in keeping deals moving, protecting partner relationships, and helping the company scale.
This position is based in Miami and reports directly to the CEO.
What You'll Do
Drive Loans to Clear-to-Close
- Take full ownership of loan files from application through CTC
- Submit complete, compliant files to underwriting within 24 hours
- Clear underwriting conditions within 48-72 hours
- Anticipate and resolve potential underwriting issues before submission
- Deliver predictable 20-day (or faster) application-to-CTC timelines
Manage the Loan Pipeline
- Track and manage 15-25+ active loan files simultaneously
- Reverse-engineer contract dates into actionable internal timelines
- Monitor milestones daily and intervene early to prevent delays
- Escalate risks proactively with solutions
Delivering an Exceptional Client Experience
- Act as the communication hub for borrowers, realtors, and partners
- Provide proactive milestone updates and manage expectations
- Respond to client and partner inquiries on the same business day (goal: under 2 hours)
- Maintain a calm, professional presence during underwriting challenges
Maintain Operational Excellence
- Keep LOS and CRM systems meticulously updated
- Coordinate third-party vendors (appraisals, title, insurance, VOE/VOD, etc.)
- Structure files cleanly for efficient underwriting review
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processing efficiency
What Success Looks Like
Top performers in this role will consistently achieve:
- 20 days or less average application-to-CTC timeline
- 90%+ files submitted to underwriting within 48 hours
- Under 5% underwriting kickback rate
- 95-100% on-time closings
- Zero compliance errors
- Same-day borrower and partner response times
What You Bring
Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience processing Conventional, FHA, and VA loans
- Strong understanding of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines
- Working knowledge of TRID, RESPA, and compliance requirements
- Experience using a Loan Origination System (LOS) and CRM tools
- Strong income calculation skills (W-2, commission, self-employed, rental income)
- Ability to manage multiple files and strict deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Professional Strengths
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear, professional communication with clients and partners
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented mindset focused on speed, accuracy, and execution
Bonus Skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
