HVAC Mechanic- "W-TRS" Fort Irwin, California

This role will be considered full-Time CBA role; The duration of the role is expected to be 6 to 8 months in length. There is potential that this role could become a permanent role pending outcome.

Job Summary:

• Maintains and repairs HVAC systems to ensure various machines operate efficiently and reliably.
• Employs a blend of technical expertise and precision to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Utilizes specialized equipment to identify faulty components and install replacement parts.
• Conduct regular system maintenance to optimize airflow and distribution.
• Cleans ventilation ducts, coils, air handling units, condensation lines, and maintains system efficiency, and prevents major breakdowns.
• Responsible for maintaining systems on cantonment and in the NTC Training Area.
• Inputs all maintenance activities into Maximo work orders for tracking of labor, hardware and materials.
