Medical Assistant I or II, Clinic

Requirements

Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Required

Previous clinic job related experience preferred. Experience is only required in lieu of program completion.

Specialized or Technical Education Required

High school diploma or equivalent, complete a Medical Assistant program or 5 years' experience as an MA in a clinic setting

Maintain BLS Certification.

MA II must have current MA certification which must be maintained.

Manual or Physical Skill Required

Must be capable of assisting with the lifting and moving of patients. Must have knowledge of appropriate body mechanics. Must be capable of prolonged standing and walking.
