Driver's Helper/Packers

Position Summary

The Driver's Helper assists CDL and non-CDL drivers with the safe, efficient loading, transportation, and unloading of household and commercial goods. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, protecting client property, and supporting compliance with company safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading furniture, cartons, equipment, and household goods.
• Properly pad, wrap, and protect furniture and fragile items.
• Safely carry, lift, and maneuver items in homes, offices, stairways, elevators, and trucks.
• Secure cargo using straps, load bars, and protective materials.
• Assist with packing and unpacking services when required.
• Follow inventory procedures and assist with tagging and documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Tolerance for repetitive lifting and physical labor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior moving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Pass Background Check
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work daily/

Pay $ 18-$20/hr. with FMCSA Minimum OT rate for hours over 40.
