Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Community Programming
State College & Bellefonte, PA

Preferred Availability: Weekdays or Weekends | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Full-Time Positions are also available! Pay starts at $18/hour with $1,000 sign-on bonus.
We are especially interested in candidates available during these hours. However, we also offer many other flexible scheduling options, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Starting Pay: $17/hour
$1/hour stacking shift differentials available
Earn up to a $600 sign-on/stay-on bonus
No experience required - ALL training is PAID.

Join The Arc of Centre County as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living full, independent lives at home and in the community.
What You'll Do
As a DSP in our Community Programming program, you will:
- Support individuals in their homes and community settings
- Assist with daily living skills (cooking, hygiene, routines)
- Encourage independence and personal goal achievement
- Help individuals participate in community activities and social engagement
- Build trusting, respectful relationships
- Promote a safe, healthy, and empowering environment
No two days are the same - you might spend the day cooking a meal together, going to the park, attending community events, or helping someone build skills that increase their independence.
Transportation & Driving Expectations
This role may include transporting individuals in the community. DSPs in our Community Programming:
- Use their personal or agency vehicle to transport individuals to activities, appointments, and outings
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Receive mileage reimbursement for work-related travel
