What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities
As a Convenience Site Attendant, you will:

• Operates trash compactor in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Direct traffic flow at convenience site and assist waste haulers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Monitors refuse and recycling collection areas and enforces County regulations regarding proper waste disposal.
• Identifies, discourages, and reports illegal dumping and unauthorized use by out-of-County residents.
• Maintains cleanliness and general upkeep of convenience site and grounds, including litter control, and raking as required.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance of equipment and reports repair needs.
• the public cooperatively and professionally Provides courteous and professional customer service to the public, including answering questions and providing assistance.
• Assists customers with off-loading waste materials from needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

• Ability to follow specific instructions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
