Job Duties for Material Handler | General Labor position:

• Responsible for coordinating all activities required to stage manufacturing orders in support of production requirements
• Verify the accuracy of the orders by comparing information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued
• Mark identifying information on material
• Move material to and from storage areas as well as the production lines using ground transportation equipment
• Use basic math skills to prepare material procurement requests via MAC-PAC software as well as the manual requisition forms
• Maintain a clean and neat warehouse and staging area
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and procedures and uphold organizational values
• Report to supervision conditions or practices that are unsafe
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements for Material Handler | General Labor position:

• Minimum of 3 months related work experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist and reach
• Hand dexterity
