Essential Functions

  • Attends meetings, workshops, and seminars (e.g. updates on pertinent regulations, staff meetings, District trainings, etc.) for the purpose of gathering information required to perform functions.
  • Compiles data from a variety of sources (e.g. budget information, assessment data, safety records, student records, work orders, etc.) for the purpose of complying with financial, legal and/or administrative requirements.
  • Coordinates a wide variety of projects, functions and/or program components (e.g. scheduling, new hire orientation, in-service events, etc.) for the purpose of completing activities and/or delivering services in a timely fashion and in accordance with the assigned administrative expectations.
  • Maintains an inventory of equipment and supplies (e.g. office supplies, replacement parts, forms, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability as needed.
  • Oversees the work activities within the office for the purpose of organizing assignments, monitoring progress, and ensuring completion within established guidelines.
  • Performs clerical functions (e.g. copying, filing, etc.) for the purpose of supporting staff and department/program personnel.
  • Prepares a variety of reports and related documents (e.g. department reports, student progress records, maintenance records, etc.) for the purpose of providing documentation and information.
  • Processes documents and materials (e.g. requisitions, activity reports, attendance records, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties.
  • Records a variety of information (e.g. student records, assessment data, employee information, budget data, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of accurate, up-to-date information in support of the assigned department/program.
  • Responds to written and verbal inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources (e.g. parents, teachers, administrators, vendors, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or providing direction.
  • Supports assigned administrative personnel (e.g. research issues, gather information, etc.) for the purpose of providing assistance with their functions and responsibilities.

Experience: Job related experience is required.
Education: Community college and/or vocational school degree with study in job-related area.
Equivalency: High school diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of satisfactory job-related experience.
Clearances: Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Salary: $16.13/HR
