Primary Function:

The successful candidate must be capable of learning allequipment in the Thermoset Division. The successful candidate must learn to be proficientin using statistics to analyze all types of process variables and processproblems, participate in projects with Engineering, Management, and co-workers.The successful candidate must be committed to broadening his knowledge through outsideeducational involvement.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the maintenance of allequipment in the Thermoset Division.
  • Perform SPC analysis on finished product,equipment, and processes to improve quality and productivity.
  • Maintainequipment safety features. Instruct and familiarize other employees with thesetup and overall operation of equipment and tools.
  • Diagnose and correctequipment malfunctions. Initiate corrective action by maintaining ongoingcontact with Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, ProductionScheduling, CS², and others to bring about high quality, timely change.
  • Remaincurrent with state-of-the-art technology by utilizing the technical developmentprogram, seminars, courses, trade publications, and other appropriate sourcesof technical data.
  • The successful candidate must be a proven innovator and possess aworking technical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical circuits,mechanical principles, and statistical process control to advance to Grade II.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
