Patient Care Tech/Phlebotomist- 4 East Casual

Job Description:

1. Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specificaccommodations.

1. Collaborates with patients, families, and health care team members in order to achieve excellence in patient care.

1. Promotes patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.

1. Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.

Maintains clinical competency according to unit-specific standards

Job Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education:

1. High school or GED completion

2. Certified Nursing Assistant documentation for Certified PCT position. Must maintain current Pennsylvania license.

B. Experience:

1. Hospital experience preferred

2. Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred

C. Other Skills:

1. Certified in B.L.S. for health care providers

2. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
