Education Required:
High school diploma or GED Prefer Associates Degree or 48 hours of college
Certificates/License Required:
Able to obtain Paraprofessional Certificate
Experience/Abilities Required:
Proficiency with basic computer applications; Strong communication skills with both students and adults
Physical/Mental Demands:
Frequent light lifting and carrying (under 15 pounds); occasional moderate lifting and carrying (15–44 pounds); Work with frequent interruption; maintain emotional control under stress; Withstand demand and possess physical strength to work with energetically small children
