Description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of up to $35.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing for high net-worth individuals, ensuring accuracy for employees.
- Administer bi-monthly payroll cycles, including data validation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Handle leave of absence tracking, sick pay calculations, and break compliance across multiple states.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and generate detailed reports for management review.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely updates.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices, including multi-state regulations and 401(k) administration.
- Ability to manage full-cycle payroll processes with attention to detail and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and responding to employee inquiries.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field..
- A minimum of 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a healthcare or multi-entity environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling complex payroll scenarios, including LOAs and benefit deductions.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing payroll data and identifying discrepancies.
- Experience generating payroll reports and supporting audits or compliance reviews.
