About the role

We're looking for a skilled Machinist to join our machine shop team. You'll operate a variety of machining tools to manufacture and repair parts to exact specifications, playing a key role in keeping production running safely and on schedule.
What you'll do

• Manufacture and repair products safely and on schedule
• Operate and maintain assigned machine tools and workstation
• Deburr all parts to ensure they meet spec and are free of sharp edges
• Perform daily maintenance and inspection of all equipment in your work area
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Complete additional duties as directed by the Machine Shop Manager

• Experience operating machining tools and reading engineering specs
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
• Ability to work scheduled overtime and shift work
• Solid time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset

Work environment

This is a primarily indoor, enclosed shop environment. Some facilities may not be climate controlled, so candidates should be comfortable working in varying temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions is possible.
