Position: New Patient Scheduler (Bilingual Preferred)
Location: Fresno, CA
Pay: $18-$22/hour

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented New Patient Scheduler to support a busy medical office. This role focuses on scheduling new patient appointments, coordinating referrals, and ensuring a smooth intake process. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of medical office or scheduling experience
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with scheduling software (Medical Manager a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule new patient appointments and manage referral coordination
• Verify insurance, demographics, and patient information
• Communicate appointment details, preparation instructions, and next steps
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Answer incoming calls and assist with scheduling inquiries
• Support providers and staff to ensure efficient daily operations
• Provide a professional, welcoming experience for all patients

Skills:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Proficient with computers, phones, and standard office systems
