A valued client of ours is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.

Job Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Review, code, and enter a high volume of vendor invoices intoQuickBooks online with high accuracy.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Negotiate payment terms and early payment discounts to optimize company cash flow.
• Perform weekly three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices. Reconcile monthly vendor statements to identify and resolve missing invoices or credits.
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including ACH transfers, wire payments, and check distribution.
• Proactively research and resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues by communicating effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in accounts payable or a general accounting role.
• Advanced hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is strictly required.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Compensation for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• $20-$22 Hourly
