ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a Material Handler who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The Material Handler be responsible for collecting and delivering material to production in accordance with production schedule.
Material Handler
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials to production lines.
- Collects and delivers material to production in accordance with production schedule.
- Ensure quantity and part numbers align with pick lists.
- Maintain in-process inventory counts to ensure continuous accuracy.
- Deliver production materials where needed with accuracy and speed.
- Document materials, record units delivered and location of units.
- Partner with production for seamless processes.
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in operating forklift
- Work experience in warehousing
- Inventory management software (beneficial)
- OSHA compliant
- Willingness to train on other machinery, such as turrets
- Time management, communication skills, familiar with metric system, working with hand tools
