Job Title: Material Processor
Location: Jamesburg, NJ
Pay Rate: $22.07

Position Summary:

The Material Processor is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling, processing, and movement of automotive parts and materials within the warehouse. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving through shipping, supporting, and commitment to quality and timely delivery of automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming automotive parts and materials.
  • Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment based on customer or internal orders.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.
  • Ensure all materials are handled in compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and participate in team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred, especially in automotive parts distribution.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift certification a plus).
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
