Description
A well-established CPA firm looking to expand our Audit Department. We are looking for an Audit Senior to join our team in Norwood, MA on a full- or part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
• Perform audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately-held entities in a variety of industries, nonprofit organizations, and employee benefit plans.
• Prepare financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters.
• Communicate accounting and auditing issues with managers and partners.
• Develop strong client relationships and serve as a client contact during an engagement.
• Research accounting and engagement issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and professional standards
• CPA (or actively working toward passing the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination)
• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Experience with Engagement Manager, CS Professional Suite, and QuickBooks a plus
• Prior audit experience with nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans desired but not required
