Job Summary

Currently we have one open position that serves D.H. White Elementary. We are located 12 miles from Antioch, 20 miles from Fairfield, 21 miles from Dixon, 23 miles from Lodi and Galt, 24 miles from Elk Grove, 29 miles from Vacaville.

Work Schedule:

10.5 Months a year
Monday - Friday
6 hours daily
7:45 am - 2:15 pm

ABOUT THE DISTRICT

The River Delta District United is located in Rio Vista which is 45 miles northeast of San Francisco and 35 miles south-west of Sacramento.
River Delta is a K-12 district with an enrollment of 1,880. The District has 8 small schools: (4) K-6 elementary schools; (2) middle schools; and (2) high schools serving the communities of Clarksburg, Hood, Courtland, Walnut Grove, Ryde, Locke, Isleton, Rio Vista, Birds Landing, and Collinsville.

The River Delta United School District sits in three counties - Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo. Although it is a tri-county district, it is served by the Sacramento County Office of Education.
River Delta United School District is committed to providing a quality education for all students and has high standards and expectations for students' success in school. We are committed to ensuring that our students meet these standards and that our clients' expectations for education-al excellence are not compromised. The District continually improves and expands its curriculum by implementing new programs and broadening the instructional strategies used in the classroom.

Students development opportunities are provided, encouraged, and promoted. Strategic Schooling is ongoing in all our school sites and Common Core training and coaching is the top priority for the district currently.

In addition, the District provides opportunities for students to participate in on-going in-services in all curriculum areas. The district encourages advancement on the salary sched-ule for advanced classes taken to improve instruction in areas agreed upon by the teacher, principal, and Superintendent.
