Position: Temporary HR Administrative Support
Pay Rate: $19 to $25 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Work Location: Onsite - San Diego, CA

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Administrative Support professional. This contract role supports daily HR operations, focusing on benefits administration support, recruiting coordination, employee intake, and compliance documentation under the guidance of the HR Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations during a temporary coverage assignment
  • Assist with employee benefits administration, including invoice reconciliation, vendor coordination, documentation tracking, and benefits orientations
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries and escalate non-routine or sensitive matters to HR leadership
  • Support recruiting logistics by posting positions, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining applicant tracking records
  • Assist with employee intake processes, including preparation and submission of EDD, SDI, and disability-related documentation as directed
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for employee requests and route employee relations matters appropriately
  • Compile, organize, and maintain HR documentation to support compliance reviews and audit requests
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an HR administrative or support role
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established HR procedures
  • Comfort working in a temporary, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with HR systems, ATS platforms, and standard office technology
